What we collect
Your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash) when you create an account. Payment and wallet records when you use Z Pay. If you ask for live access, the identity details and documents you upload for verification.
Why we use it
To run your account, move money you ask us to move, keep the platform safe, prevent fraud, and meet our legal duties. We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Who sees it
Our authorised staff, only as needed for their role, and the payment providers that process a payment you start. Payers on a payment link see the merchant's name and the link's details.
How long we keep it
Account and transaction records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as the law requires. Identity documents from applications that were not approved are deleted after 90 days; approved documents are deleted 1825 days after the decision unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can download your data and close your account from Account & security in your dashboard. You can also ask us to correct or erase your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to no-reply@okao.site.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in and one to protect forms against forgery. They cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
